Flexbury beach is situated a little to the north of the town of Bude in north Cornwall

Getting There
Bude is on the main A39 coast road or, if approaching from inland, approach on the A3072 from the direction of Holsworthy.

Having parked in Bude, the beach is a relatively short distance to the north, between Bude and the village of Poughill. Altenatively, Flexbury is about half a mile to the south of 'Northcott Mouth' and 'Sandy Mouth'

Description
"Following my sucess on Studland beach during the summer of 2003 I found myself staying at the Bude Holiday Park. Looking at my OS map I discovered Flexbury beach was quite near. This is not the easiest of beaches to find but on the last day of my holiday I set out at 7am to find the beach. Arriving at the beach I found a number of couples, single men and familes already there getting good spots for the day. I spent a very happy hour talking to a couple from Dorset who regularly come here.

A word of caution though: There were a number of men engaging in sexual activity within 50 yards of the beach behind some rocks, these were chased away but this can be a problem.

Is Flexbury the small bay with the little lifebelt box just on the edge of the grassy slope, we were not sure which beach it was when we went looking for it, there were so many bays.

We are naturists and wish to visit this beach in September. Once again we would love directions as we are staying in Bude. please help

i've alway lived in bude, and have never seen nudists on the beach. the idea that it's an established nudist beach is pretty unfounded.
