Victoria Acharya, who is currently studying at Nottingham Trent University, is looking for female naturist volunteers who would like to participate in a photography project.
The photographs will be non sexual and will highlight the beauty of ageing through portraiture, using old fashioned 5" by 4" and medium format cameras.
"As a result of the desirable and ‘perfect’ body frequently appearing within the media, and the pressure within society to look a certain way, the representation of the body becomes a symbol of the young body. I aim to give viewers an insight into what the aging body appears to look like a different stages of life, revealing that it is just as beautiful as the young body we see everyday within the media, just in a different way." |

Stewart is seeking support for a proposed naturist session in the 'spa and relaxation' area at Cheltenham Leisure Centre.
The session would be in health spa (sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) and could take place on Saturday evenings from 1800-2000. On a 'private hire' basis, twelve or more attendees - at a cost of £6 per head - would be needed to make the event viable. Anyone over eighteen years of age would be welcome.

June and Norman Calvert have announced that Club Soleil will close down in the New Year after nearly 13 years of organising naturist swims at a number of venues in the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire area.
The final Club Soleil event will take place at Bedford Oasis pool on the 10th January 2009. |
